The "Founder Story" Workshop

Nobody cares about your story...

Harsh?

Maybe.

Here’s a marketing lesson for you:

people only care about themselves—their own pains, problems, desires, and goals.

So if you’re going to tell your story, you need to tell it in a way that matters to them. Your story needs to reflect their desires, pains and needs.

When I recently shared my own story, I knew it had to serve a purpose: reintroducing myself to my warm audience.

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—psychology student, medical school dropout, handmade notebook creator, cake decorator, website builder.

Each chapter of my life brought new circles of people so when I told the story to my circle of friends I did it to "catch everyone up" - so that if you knew me from my cake days or as a psychology student in Uni, you could see the journey from there to here.

Today, I help people through email marketing and storytelling. That journey—from what I was to who I am now—is the story I told...the bridge that connects me to my audience.

Your story matters, too—but only if you tell it in a way that matters to your audience.

I hope that makes sense. You can tell your story any time but your founder story is more strategic.

In the Write Your Founder Story Workshop, we will:

  • Craft your story to show not just who you are, but how you help.
  • Point your story toward your values, your journey, and your humanness.
  • Connect with people in a way that builds trust, authenticity, and credibility.

Remember, people buy from people—not logos or organizations. Sharing your story makes you a real person. It creates the bond that builds trust and attracts your ideal clients, customers, partners, and advocates.

Yesterday, my bestie woke up in the middle of the night, ate a few biscuits from her bedside snack drawer (don’t even ask) and promptly went back to sleep. We were on a FaceTime call, when she randomly shared this fact with me. Apparently, she’s been on this 21-day fast, and according to her, the hunger was kicking her butt! After we had a good laugh about her midnight snack attack, we somehow ended up talking about make-up. She even gave me a mini makeup lesson right there on the call “This...

Over 100 likes and 30 comments in just 2 days after sharing my story - and that was just on my Facebook profile. On my linkedIn page it was wild. I had not posted anything for months and I just I posted my origin story and it was bonkers! Over 7000 percent increase in impressions and 2.5% increase in followers. Nothing fancy. I just told my origin story. I shared my story because I had to put my money where my mouth is and practice what I had been "preaching" to you to do all this time... I...

When you dont embrace storytelling, you are making things harder than they need to be. We’re bombarded with ads every day—on our phones, in our inboxes, and even during a quick scroll through social media. It’s relentless. And because of this, people including you and me - have built walls. We’re skeptical, resistant, and often outright blind to anything that looks like a pitch. But there’s one thing that sneaks past those walls. A story. A well-told story has the power to stop someone in...
